About me

• Hi! I am Ranveer Kumar Singh. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Bhaumik Institute for Theoretical Physics, UCLA. My research interest is at the intersection of pure mathematics and theoretical high energy physics called by the name Physical mathematics. I am also interested in number theory. • I completed my PhD in the New High Energy Theory Center (NHETC), Rutgers University, New Brunswick under the supervision of Prof. Gregory Moore. My thesis studied the mathematical aspects of quantum field theory in 2 and 4 dimensions. Here is my PhD thesis.
• I completed BSMS integrated masters course majoring in mathematics and with a minor in physics from IISER Bhopal, India. My master’s research in mathematics was under the supervision of Dr. Ajit Bhand. My thesis was aimed at investigating the connections of modular forms, class groups and mock modular forms, with black hole microstates counting problem in string theory. Here is my Master’s Thesis.
